Duration

All Full-Time ND Programmes last for a minimum of Two Years while part-time programmes are expected to last for a minimum of (3) three years. Pre-ND programme are structured to run for one academic session of two semester at the end of which students are expected to take an internal examination.

Admission Requirements

Every prospective student must meet the minimum admission requirements as follows for full-time and part-time programmes.

  1. Minimum of 4 credits at O’level WASC/NECO/NABTEB including English and Mathematics at not more than two sittings. (5 credits passes will be an added advantage)

  2. All candidates are required to write JAMB examination in addition to requirement in (I) above. Candidates who did not write JAMB examination can also apply provided they meet the minimum entry requirements listed above, while their admissions regularized later with JAMB.

Departmental Admission Requirements

  1. Accountancy, Business Studies, Banking and Finance: Minimum of 4 credits including English and Mathematics in SSCE, GCE, NECO or NABTEB.

  2. Computer Science: At least O’level pass in English Language and credit passes in Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry and any other two subjects.

  3. Secretariat Technology: four credits at GCE O’level, NECO, SSCE or NABTEB including English Language and any other three subjects.

Pre-ND Programmes (FULL-TIME)

  1. A minimum of three O’level passes at credit level, including English and Mathematics and any two other subjects, or National Business certificate with a credit pass in a Business Trade, Mathematics and English Language and two other relevant subjects.

  2. In the case of ND Secretariat Technology, the, minimum requirement is GCE O’Level NECO, SSCE, or NABTEB ordinary pass in English Language and three other subjects.
