Medical Services

On campus we have a health unit which offers medical services to students. All students, upon first admission to the Polytechnic are required to register at Polytechnic’s appointed hospitals located close to them.

During the registration, students are expected to bring along two passport photographs, their chest x-ray films and completed medical forms. Thereafter, each student is issued medical centre registration Card with his/her number and photograph on it. Students with peculiar health problems are required to establish and maintain regular patient relationship with the polytechnic medical centre. If a student is found temporarily infit to attend lectures on ground of illness or injury, “excuse lecture” note can be obtained from the Polytechnics medical centre attesting to same. Such document must be forwarded to the HOD concerned through the matron before the commencement of lectures.
