Parents Forum

Parents are strongly encouraged to visit their children in the school environment. The Registry, in conjunction with the Students Affairs Office, are open week days from 10am-5pm Monday to Friday to receive parents and prospective students.

The objective is to familiarize parents with the environment where their children live and learn, and to enable them appreciate the problem facing the students, thus giving them the opportunity to proffer first hand solution. Such visits will also afford parents the opportunity to interact with school authority, especially the lecturers/advisers who are in a better position to give an accurate assessment of the students performances both morally and academically.

A meeting of Parents and Polytechnic Authority is also encouraged. This meeting holds once in a semester, and aims at establishing friendly relationship between the parents and the polytechnic authority. Here parents are privileged to meet different lecturers/counselors who are in better position to advise on students the strengths and weaknesses.
